Hi Reader,

The weather finally turned this week. We've had chilly mornings, some rain even (yay!) and I'm starting to look for the layers I have packed away in my winter clothes storage!! I wasn't sure I was ready for cool weather, but it feels good. I want to hang onto this early Fall for a while now!!

A few fun things to share. We visited Chico, California last weekend. I grew up 20 minutes away and am back frequently, but my husband and I got to play tourist and had a lot of new experiences. I'll be sharing my blog post next week, but just a fun reminder to visit your own local spots sometimes too!

Eating & Drinking

It's persimmon season and we're in love. Conrad and my mom surprised me this weekend by going to a fruit orchard near my brother's with pick your own persimmon, so we have a big bowl full that Con and I are going to work our way through (and I don't think it'll take long)!

Wearing

With cooler mornings for a bit and now cooler days, I've been reaching for my open front cardigan (in anthracite, of course).
